Welcome to the Riparian Carolyn Watershed Blog, run by LAWPC Education and Outreach Coordinator Carolyn. Here I will be posting the various things I encounter at work whether it is inside, outside, or an environmental fact/thought I wanted to share.

Today I started to prepare for a summer camp field trip that will be visiting the Lewiston-Auburn Water Treatment Plant next Friday.  After the tours there will be some hands-on activities that they will rotate through. This will be my first time using this equipment since I started in October and I don’t think they have been used in the last few years either! So I tested some out today and will go through them all tomorrow to make sure everything is working and calibrated, and to have a solid idea of how long each activity takes.
