Trail Day

Come join the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission, Androscoggin Land Trust, and LA Trails on our first ever Community Science project! We’ll be doing some much needed trail maintenance at Salmon Point, including putting up signage at the trailhead, cutting overgrown brush, clipping back branches along the trail, and trash removal. This stewardship project is a great way to take part in hands-on land and watershed conservation.
We will be following the CDC and Governor’s recommended guidelines for social distancing during this event, and the event will be capped at 20 volunteers. We will have the following items available for use, but also feel free to bring in your own as well: tools (folding saws, rakes, loppers), gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer. Donuts and coffee will be provided as a thank you for all your hard work! Additionally, we’ll have some gear to give away for those who join us.
