Nature Walk at Spring Road

Come join the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission and USDA Wildlife Biologist Ben Nugent on a laidback walk through the woods at the Spring Road Trail. We’ll learn a bit about the local plant and animal wildlife in the area, and discuss ways to get involved in community science efforts in the Lake Auburn Watershed. Meet at the southern trailhead on Whitman Spring Road. To get here, turn off West Auburn Road onto Whitman Spring Road, and drive about 0.25 mi to a gate where the road changes from tar to dirt. Parking is available near the gate. Space is limited to 10 people. Social distancing practices will be followed during the walk, and participants will be asked to bring and wear a mask for the duration of the event.
