Watershed, Brews and Beer

Come join in on raffles, prizes and of course, beer! Learn more about the local Lake Auburn Watershed and Maine’s water quality protection efforts. NRCM’s Brewshed Alliance will also be there!
The Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission provides clean drinking water for the Lewiston and Auburn area by maintaining the quality of the water through education, outreach and watershed management efforts.
The Maine Brewshed® Alliance is a coalition of brewers and the Natural Resources Council of Maine committed to protecting the waterways that make Maine a great place to live, work, brew, and enjoy great beer.
Baxter Brewing Co. opened in 2010 in the iconic Lewiston Bates Mill. They were the first brewery in New England to can all its beer and have continued to produce craft beers that embody the grit, determination, and passion of Maine.
