All members of the public must abide by LAWPC’s rules and regulations while using Commission land.
Properties of Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission:
- No trespassing from Sunset to Sunrise.
- Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Owners must pick up all pet waste.
- Fires, outdoor cooking, and overnight camping are prohibited.
- Vegetation (live or dead), soils, and rock may not be disturbed. Harvesting, except that for cultural uses, requires permission.
- Disturbing, digging, or collecting archaeological or historical artifacts is prohibited.
- Off-road vehicles are not allowed on any Commission property, with the exception of snowmobile use on the designated PRST trails along Whitman Spring Road when the ground is frozen with snow cover.
- Hunting is allowed with permission on some properties. Hunters must follow all applicable local and State laws.
- No parking in front of access gates. Vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.
