Rules

All members of the public must abide by LAWPC’s rules and regulations while using Commission land. To view a full list of Lake Auburn Rules and Regulations, click here. 

Properties of Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission: 

  • 1. No trespassing from Sunset to Sunrise. No trespassing in the Level 1 Restricted Area.
  • 2. Dogs must remain leashed at all times. Owners must pick up all pet waste. 
  • 3. Fires, outdoor cooking, and overnight camping are prohibited. 
  • 4. Vegetation (live or dead), soils, and rock may not be disturbed. Harvesting requires permission. 
  • 5. Disturbing, digging, or collecting archaeological or historical artifacts is prohibited. 
  • 6. Off-road vehicles are not allowed on any Commission property, with the exception of snowmobile use on the designated Perkins Ridge Sno Travelers snowmobile trails along Whitman Spring Road when the ground is frozen with snow cover. 
  • 7. Hunting is allowed with permission on some properties. Hunters must follow all applicable local and State laws. 
  • 8. No parking in front of access gates. Vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense.
